Sooooo, transfers happened on Friday and I got transferred back to the city! I'm now serving in Annandale, VA!! Annandale is super diverse, quick-paced, and full of life! I'm about 20 minutes from my first area, so it's crazy to experience some of the overlap and relive my days in training.

I'm devastated that my days as a Gainesville girlie came to an end earlier than I anticipated. My time in GV was truly unreal and taught me so much about the kind of disciple of Christ I want to be for the rest of my life. Gainesville, you were good to me. To my Vint Hill family, thank you for scooping me up and loving me without a second thought! Your willingness to give, serve, and love has changed me forever.

I'm PUMPED for this transfer with rockstar, Sister Morrill!! This is her last transfer and she's just an absolute boss. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to learn from such a stellar missionary.

Do all things out of love for the Savior!! My new area is pushing me far beyond my comfort zone. However, as I've come to accept this change with an attitude of love, I've been amazed by the courage, strength, and confidence I've been granted. Use your love for the Savior as a launch pad for all your endeavors, and I promise the reward will be great!

It doesn't really hurt me anymore, but it also doesn't make for a great email home. On top of that, I had a lot of unexpected anxiety about ending my mission pop up, so this week was... really something. With that, I thought I'd keep it brief and share some of what's been bouncing around my head for the last 18 months. Growing up, whenever I experienced a setback or some sort of defeat in softball, my dad would often tell me, "The game's not over until it is." I'm serving right below the area I served in a few months ago and right next to my first area. Honestly, I couldn't be happier; I love this little neck of the woods!
