Where'd All The Time Go???

Sister Richardson's Super Split Seconds

Howdy howdy, lovely people! As of Friday, I've been a missionary for 10 MONTHS! Absolutely wild! Wahoo for double digits!

Spring has SPRUNG! Virginia is stunning right now. Seeing everything come back to life has been literally so tender! I'm so grateful for new beginnings and fresh starts!

Our ward choir recruited the missionaries to sing for Easter. Sister Larsen and I have approximately ZERO musical talent, and the piece they chose is HARD. So much so that the choir director told us we were terrible in front of everyone. Pray we can pull it together for the big Easter musical number! I'll report back after our big debut.

I've mentioned this before, but one of my favorite parts about missionary life is the opportunity to talk with so many people! We talk to A LOT of people every day, and usually, they all start to blur together. However, there are always a few interactions that leave me in awe. We had one of these on Saturday with a man named Hassan. Hassan opened the door and quickly told us he was fasting and not interested in talking with us. However, after a second question, he opened right up. Hassan explained his love for God to us. He tearfully explained how he's come to understand the power that comes from humbly submitting to God's will, and I couldn't help but tear up as well. He has faced colossal trials, but he's always made a conscious effort to look for the hand of God in his life, and it's made all the difference for him. I know that God is in the details. He knows what we need and He is eager to support our needs. God is a God of love, and for that, I'm forever grateful!

Have a fantastic week, lovies!!

xoxo,
Sister Richardson
