  1. Hello friends! To be honest, I feel like I'm beginning to sound like a broken record in these emails, so for the sake of my mental sanity and your enjoyment, I'm keeping it short today!

  2. The farm we volunteer at lets us take flowers home for ourselves and others. Cutting, arranging, and delivering flowers to some ladies brought much-needed sunshine to our week! Big shoutout to Farmer Jim for his kindness.

  3. Rejection has been coming at us in large quantities, which is not ideal, but such is life. Builds character, am I right?

  4. One of the greatest blessings of my mission has been the opportunity to grow in my understanding of the Book of Mormon. In all honesty, consistently studying the scriptures was something I really struggled to do before my mission. I didn't make it a priority, and because of that, I missed out on a lot of extra guidance available to me. Reading the Book of Mormon daily has given me a whole new understanding of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the power available to us through living His Gospel! This knowledge has changed my life forever and given me a confidence I wouldn't otherwise have. This change is something I want for each of you!

With the end of my mission quickly approaching, I've made a goal to read the Book of Mormon cover to cover one last time. To do this, I will read approximately 3 chapters a day for the next 12 weeks!

I want to invite each of you to join me in this goal! The Book of Mormon was written for YOU, and it has the ability to elevate your life to a higher and holier state. You will come out better. It's that simple. I promise you that in the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

It doesn't really hurt me anymore, but it also doesn't make for a great email home. On top of that, I had a lot of unexpected anxiety about ending my mission pop up, so this week was... really something. With that, I thought I'd keep it brief and share some of what's been bouncing around my head for the last 18 months. Growing up, whenever I experienced a setback or some sort of defeat in softball, my dad would often tell me, "The game's not over until it is." I'm serving right below the area I served in a few months ago and right next to my first area. Honestly, I couldn't be happier; I love this little neck of the woods! I'm serving with the lovely Sister Wallin from Southern California! She's got so much fire, so I'm excited for what's ahead! TALL CEDARS, I LOVE YOU!
