We had ourselves a week!! Lots of ups and downs, but we did it! I'm so grateful for sweet Sister Reese and for the good laughs we have each day regardless of what is or isn't happening in our area.

Remember my face rash back in the winter/spring? Yeah, well, it cleared up just in time for summer to spark a new rash on my arms! My legs also currently look like I have a slight case of chickenpox courtesy of all of the mosquitoes. Virginia is too good to me.

A huge tender mercy this week was a few days of, drum roll please... you guessed it... NICE WEATHER! We had some glorious rain and cooler days, which seriously made all the difference considering the fact that last week brought triple-digit days with absurd humidity! GOD IS GOOD!

We frequently visit a lady named Linda from our congregation. Linda has special needs, but she doesn't let that keep her from experiencing any part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She reads her scriptures daily, frequently attends the temple, and freely shares her testimony with anyone she meets. Linda has every reason not to be engaged with the church, and yet, she chooses to be because it brings her hope and peace! Seeing Linda's smile as she enters church or speaks about Jesus Christ has been another testament to me of the joy that comes from knowledge of Christ's teachings! I love Linda!

Sister Richardson's Super Split Seconds As you all know, I've never been shy about sharing my realities. With that in mind, people were mean, and I mean mean this week. It doesn't really hurt me anymore, but it also doesn't make for a great email home. On top of that, I had a lot of unexpected anxiety about ending my mission pop up, so this week was... really something. With that, I thought I'd keep it brief and share some of what's been bouncing around my head for the last 18 months. Growing up, whenever I experienced a setback or some sort of defeat in softball, my dad would often tell me, "The game's not over until it is." In other words, regardless of how far behind you may be, you always have the ability to make a comeback because there's still time left on the clock. I'm serving right below the area I served in a few months ago and right next to my first area. Honestly, I couldn't be happier; I love this little neck of the woods! I'm serving with the lovely Sister Wallin from Southern California! She's got so much fire, so I'm excited for what's ahead! TALL CEDARS, I LOVE YOU!
